⚠️ Introduction
Beloved, failure is never sudden. It is built one wrong attitude at a time—through small compromises, careless habits, and uncorrected character flaws.
You should assess your life by these traits and ensure that none of them are found in you. If, peradventure, you discover that some are already at work in your life, it’s not too late—make the right adjustments immediately.
💥 The Traits of a Man That Will Fail
A man destined to fail is unteachable. He knows everything, argues with correction, and resists wisdom. Pride shuts his ears to instruction, and a “too-know” attitude keeps him small. He becomes overconfident, trusting his feelings rather than facts, yet unwilling to learn or grow.
He is not subject to authority, and though he loves to break rules, it is not from genius or creativity—it is rebellion. His mind is lazy and unfocused; he rarely completes assignments or instructions. He becomes a nightmare to his superiors and a burden to those who try to help him.
Such a man is a non-team player—no one enjoys working with him because he cannot cooperate. He lives in self-deception, overrating himself while underperforming in reality. He jumps from one thing to another, never settling, a jack of all trades and master of none. When corrected, he becomes defensive, seeing every suggestion as an attack. He calls his lack of accountability “freedom,” not realising it is rebellion in disguise.
He dislikes routine work and quickly gets bored. He fills his time with distractions—TV, the Internet, entertainment—anything that numbs the pain of his unfulfilled potential. He lives in fantasy, talking more than he does, planning more than he executes. He starts many things but finishes nothing, and his attention span is too short for greatness.
Because he can’t focus, he spreads himself thin, chasing too many ideas and doing none well. He avoids facing reality, hates starting small, and refuses to begin again after failure. He calls himself visionary, but he is just impractical and too full of himself. He considers failure an insult, forgetting that only God never fails.
This man operates like a 419er—he loves good living but hates hard work. He wants the results of diligence without paying the price. He believes in shortcuts—lotteries, luck, or empty prayers without effort. If he’s not born again, he trusts chance; if he’s a believer, he abuses grace, praying instead of working.
He looks for a woman to marry not out of purpose but out of comfort—one with money or a stable job to depend on. He avoids difficult or menial jobs, chasing ease over excellence. If female, she trades morality for favour; if male, he uses desperation as an excuse for crime.
Such a person cannot go far. These are not minor flaws—they are destiny destroyers.
🔥 Final Charge
Beloved, don’t let any of these traits describe you. God designed you for success, but success demands character. Correct what must be corrected. Submit where you must submit. Work hard. Stay teachable. Face reality.
“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”
— Proverbs 22:29 (KJV)
Your gifts may open doors, but only character will keep them open.
Failure is predictable—but so is success. Choose wisely.
