Financial States, Value Systems, and Preparation for the Move of God

A Prophetic Call to Kingdom Positioning

Teaching by Rev. Olusola Areogun

There are moments when God is not merely interested in blessing His people — He is interested in positioning them.

Not emotionally.
Not temporarily.
But spiritually, structurally, and financially.

“For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.”
Psalm 84:11 (KJV)

The move of God does not come to excite people; it comes to establish systems, raise stewards, and enthrone prepared vessels.

A Call to Prepare, Not Just to Receive

Before revelation flows, preparation is demanded.

“Prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.”
Amos 4:12 (KJV)

Preparation is spiritual:

  • Prayer in the Holy Ghost

  • A yielded heart

  • A conscious opening of the spirit

“But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.”
Jude 1:20 (KJV)

Receiving without preparation leads to wastage. Preparation creates permanence.

Influence Is a Spiritual Battlefield

Whenever believers step into visible authority, Satan responds aggressively.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)

David understood that the altar governs the throne:

“Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it.”
Psalm 127:1 (KJV)

Positions of influence are spiritual battlegrounds. Without prayer and intercession, mandates can be frustrated and reputations destroyed.

The Tragedy of Spiritual Carelessness

Spiritual claims without spiritual discipline produce casualties.

“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
2 Timothy 3:5 (KJV)

In Acts 16:16, accuracy existed without purity of source. Truth spoken from a wrong spirit still leads to bondage.

“Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.”
1 Corinthians 16:13 (KJV)

Never step into influence without a developed spiritual life — it is the shield of destiny.

Distraction: The Devil’s Preferred Weapon

Destinies are often destroyed by entanglement, not the absence of calling.

“No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.”
2 Timothy 2:4 (KJV)

Moral compromise, emotional chaos, and unmanaged desires weaken spiritual authority.

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
Proverbs 4:23 (KJV)

Small Acts That Shape Big Destinies

“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.”
Luke 16:10 (KJV)

Small acts build habits.
Habits determine responses.
Responses decide destinies.

  • Small prayers build spiritual stamina.

  • Small savings build financial resilience

  • Small obediences prepare you for defining moments

Escaping Environmental Limitations

Some environments normalise delay and mediocrity — but Kingdom people must rise above them.

“Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
Romans 12:2 (KJV)

Do not let the environment rewrite your standards. Obedience must be God-centred, not crowd-dependent.

Your Destiny Is Bigger Than Your Background

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

Your destiny is greater than:

  • Family background

  • Birth conditions

  • Geography

  • Race

  • Physical limitations

“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee.”
Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV)

Calling predates context.

Start Early and Learn in Hard Places

Hard seasons are not punishments — they are training grounds.

“It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.”
Psalm 119:71 (KJV)

Those who survive difficulty without bitterness will thrive in ease without pride.

The First Step into Financial Dominion: Knowing God

Financial dominion begins with revelation, not resources.

“And they that know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”
Daniel 11:32 (KJV)

God reveals Himself as:

  • El Shaddai — the All-Sufficient One

  • Jehovah Jireh — the faithful Provider

Strength precedes exploits.

God Gives Spiritual Resources First

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.”
Ephesians 1:3 (KJV)

God supplies:

  • Grace

  • Wisdom

  • Capacity

  • Direction

  • Anointing

But spiritual supply requires human stewardship for physical manifestation.

How to Receive from God

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)

Heaven responds to:

  • Hunger

  • Obedience

  • Sensitivity

  • Confession of the Word

Giving Spiritual Blessings a Physical Body

Nothing spiritual manifests without a channel.

“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”
Proverbs 22:29 (KJV)

Ideas need systems.
Anointings need structures.
Blessings need containers.

Attitude Training for Manifestation

Grace opens doors; character keeps them open.

“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.”
1 Corinthians 4:2 (KJV)

Develop:

  • Integrity

  • Excellence

  • Honesty

  • Diligence

Right Attitudes Toward God, Men, and the Devil

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.”
Proverbs 9:10 (KJV)

“Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”
Psalm 105:15 (KJV)

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
James 4:7 (KJV)

You will need:

  • Patience with God

  • Endurance against the devil

  • Long-suffering with people

Prophetic Expansion of Capacity

“In the day that thy walls are to be built, in that day shall the decree be far removed.”
Micah 7:11 (KJV)

Some limits are demonic — they must be broken.
Some limits are divine — God expands them in due season.

“Enlarge the place of thy tent… lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.”
Isaiah 54:2 (KJV)

Final Charge: Be Move-Ready, Not Just Anointed

“And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation.”
Isaiah 33:6 (KJV)

Build the life.
Build the habits.
Build the structures.
Build the attitudes.

Because when God moves, only the prepared remain standing.
