As a child of God, one of the greatest gifts God gives you is instruction.
When instruction comes, don’t treat it as suggestion. Instruction is what God uses to build your destiny. Instruction becomes construction. Without instruction, what you build will collapse.

The Power of Choice
Listen carefully: there are things you could not choose, and there are things you must choose.
• You could not choose your siblings, but you must choose your friends.
• You cannot choose how people behave, but you must choose your response.
• You cannot choose your background, but you can choose the patterns that govern your future.
God gave man the power of choice. It is an awesome responsibility. Angels don’t have it again; Lucifer abused that power and was cast down. You and I must handle choice very carefully.
The devil will always try to corrupt that power — to use your own choices against your destiny. But God prepares you so you can make the correct choices.

Rules Govern Every Arena
Every arena of life has rules. You can’t just play anyhow. If you choose basketball, you must play by basketball’s rules. If you break the rules, you are disqualified — no matter how strong you are.
So it is with destiny: progress that breaks divine rules is temporary. Success that violates God’s instruction will not last.

Instruction is the Masterplan
Some years ago, government started road projects in a township. One elder resisted because he feared the road would touch his fence. But when the masterplan was checked, it was clear the fence was already violating the plan.
Hear me: when you ignore the masterplan, you will suffer loss later. God’s Word is His masterplan. He already knows where the road of your destiny passes. If you fight it, you only hurt yourself.
We almost bought land in Lagos for church building. Everything looked fine until one final agency checked the original state masterplan — a metro line was planned right in front! Imagine if we had wasted money there. But the Holy Spirit raised a warning. I pray for you — may the Holy Ghost sharpen your sensitivity! Before you take a step that will cost you years, may that inward check rise up to save you.

Fathers, Listen
Today, God sent me to speak especially to fathers.
Fathers, you are pastors of your homes. Your voice must not scatter; it must gather. God did not give your wife the role of provider — that’s your responsibility. If you fail there, disorder and dishonour will fill your house.
A father must:
• Give instructions, not suggestions.
• Enforce honour in the home (children must not speak rudely to their mother).
• Keep unity — no camps, no divisions.
• Impart discipline with love — discipline produces honour, not bitterness.
You must raise sons and daughters who are respectful, disciplined, skilled, and God-fearing. Don’t raise children who only know academics but have no life skills, no respect, no godly structure.

Instruction in Marriage
Marriage itself stands on two instructions:
• Husbands, love your wives.
• Wives, submit to your husbands.
That’s the structure. It is not conditional. It is not, “Love if she submits.” It is “Love because Christ loved the church.” These instructions build the marriage into a lasting construction.
Ephesians 5:21–25 (KJV)
“Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it.”

Examples of Obedience
The first time God told me, “Say sorry to your wife,” it was hard. I hadn’t seen my father say sorry before. But when I obeyed, instead of losing face, I gained more honour and respect.
That’s how instruction works: God will never tell you something you cannot do. The issue is usually pride, fear, or culture. Obeying God’s instruction breaks those limits and brings glory.

Warning from History
One of the greatest men of God in history — A. A. Allen — lost his son because he insisted on a secular path God did not approve. His son lost his faith, became confused, and died young. Fathers, don’t ignore instructions concerning your children. A wrong choice may look harmless now but may destroy generations.

Why We Must Write Things Down
You must cultivate the habit of writing down divine instructions. Don’t rely on memory. The Holy Spirit is my Boss; I must record what He says. Obedience is not what you do for God; it is what God does through your obedience.

Instructions → Construction → Preservation
• Right instruction → right construction → preservation.
• Wrong instruction → wrong construction → collapse.
• No instruction → destruction.
When you see collapsed marriages, ministries, or buildings, check it: somebody ignored or despised instruction.

Prophetic Prayer Flow
Now let us pray.
Father, in the name of Jesus,
We will not live without instruction.
We will not walk into destruction.
Holy Spirit, help us to hear clearly and obey promptly.
We receive grace to build with correct instructions,
to gather and not scatter,
to raise families in order and in honour.
We will pass instructions to our children,
and our homes will stand as constructions of righteousness.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Charge
Instruction creates structure. Structure produces construction. Without instruction, collapse is inevitable. But with obedience, you will gather, build, and last. Fathers, mothers, sons, daughters — take God’s instructions seriously. They are the blueprint for destiny.
